Pot filler
It's really not that tough to fill your pasta pot with water and carry it to the stove but it can be heavy and messy at times. So if you're an avid home chef, why not make things practical? Pot fillers are no longer just for commercial kitchens. As you can see in this photo of one of our most recent total kitchen renovations, pot fillers can be the perfect add-on to add convenience and style to the most-used space in the house.
Stainless
If your fridge is white or black, your kitchen might as well be stuck in the past. Stainless appliances are the perfect touch to a brand new kitchen or remodel. Stainless appliances aren't a new trend. They've been a top-seller among other appliance options for several years now. Although, new technologies have developed to take us Jetson's-style by connecting with your phone, creating grocery lists, etc. If you're planning a new kitchen, definitely go with stainless appliances which give your kitchen a clean look and match just about everything.
Wine and design
If you're like most people who live by the water, there's never a shortage of adult beverages around the house. Don't shove your favorite bedtime dessert in a pantry beside the macaroni noodles! Make a special place for your collection of wine. Wine coolers are one of the most-requested additions we have when it comes to kitchen renovations. And they're a fairly inexpensive one at that. They come in all sizes and price ranges at most any place you purchase your other appliances. Save room for the wine!
Open-concept
Breaking through walls just about goes without saying these days. It's a no-brainer. More space is where it's at and the most common place to open up the home is between the kitchen and the living room and/or dining room. Make room!
Unique Lighting
When the trend in kitchen design goes modern and modern is minimal, we tend to pick and choose the pieces we want to catch the eye and make a pop. If you're going with an all-white theme especially, choose unique light fixtures to give your kitchen the added touch it needs to liven up the space.
White on white
Aside from tearing down walls, paint, backsplash, countertop and cabinet color choice make all the difference when giving the illusion of more space. Just like that little black dress gives the illusion of a smaller waist-line, darker colors give play tricks on the eyes making them seem smaller too. So choose your colors wisely. It wasn't long ago that the most popular kitchen paint color was somewhere in the color family of dark red but white has made quite the comeback. And if you're looking to maximize your space, white on white is the best route to take.
